Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made from reztyled.fashion.
Reztyled sells second-hand / pre-loved fashion items. Each item is unique and described as accurately as possible, including size, condition, and any visible wear or flaws.
Before you buy: Please review photos and the description carefully. If you’re unsure about sizing or condition, contact us before purchasing.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
Because our items are second-hand, we do not generally offer change-of-mind returns. This includes situations where the item doesn’t fit as expected, you no longer want it, or you ordered the wrong item.
In limited cases, a change-of-mind return may be accepted at our discretion. If approved:
- The return must be requested within 4 days of delivery.
- The item must be unworn and in the same condition as received.
- The customer is responsible for all return postage costs.
- Original shipping costs are not refundable.
2. Faulty or Misdescribed Items (Your Rights Under NZ Law)
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, you have rights if an item is faulty, significantly not as described, or does not do what it reasonably should.
Normal wear and tear consistent with a second-hand item is not considered a fault and will be disclosed where known.
3. How to Request a Return
To request a return, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item
- A brief explanation of the issue
We’ll respond within 2 business days with next steps.
4. Return Postage Costs
Faulty or Misdescribed Items
If an item is returned for assessment due to a suspected fault or misdescription, you may be asked to pay return postage upfront.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty or significantly not as described, we will reimburse the reasonable cost of return postage.
“Reasonable return postage” means standard tracked shipping within New Zealand. Express or international shipping may not be fully reimbursed.
Change-of-Mind Returns
If a change-of-mind return is approved, the customer is responsible for all return postage costs.
We recommend using tracked shipping for all returns, as re.ztyled is not responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
Shipping costs will only be refunded where the return is due to a confirmed fault or misdescription.
6. Items That Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Underwear
- Swimwear
- Earrings or intimate accessories
Where applicable, this will also be stated in the product description.
7. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under New Zealand consumer law. If a refund or remedy is legally required, we will provide it.
